Museum

Some days, it feels like the girls are just picking at each other, and begging for tech time, and can't think of anything to do.  It's exhausting for all of us to get through those days.  Some days, their creative energy just seems to appear out of nowhere, and they feed off of each other's energy all day long.  I like those days.  The other day, we read a library book about Edgar Degas, a favorite of Moo's.  The story was about a girl who posed for him as a job, because her family could no longer afford to pay for her dance lessons.  Apparently that inspired the girls, because they ran upstairs and started . . . something.  After awhile, I figured out what they were doing.  G-bear was playing artist, and Moo was dressing up and posing for her.  This morphed into an idea to start a museum.  They set it all up out in our front yard.  G-bear displayed her work, and set up a desk for selling tickets.  Moo set up a table where she made crafts for the gift shop.  Anyway, this went on morphing into various creative play episodes throughout the day.

That was a good day.
