Summer Vacation

Yes, summer started a while ago, and it has been lovely.  What I've realized is that for us, the beginning of summer is different than the beginning of summer vacation.  Summer vacation begins when we start going up to the cabin.  Days are full of playing outside, dipping in the water, holding down the dock, and nights usually include good sleep.  It is quiet and dark, and safe.  It felt late to go up to the cabin for the first time in July, but ohhhhhhh, it was nice, and we can't wait to return (especially Stella).
