Well, now that I look at the picture, it doesn't look nearly as appetizing as it is in real life. I just wanted to share here my new favorite breakfast. At one point, I read one of Huffington Post's lists (I'm such a sucker for those lists) of the best foods for women's health. On it was oats, blueberries, flax seeds, and Greek yogurt. So, I started putting them together, topped with a little maple syrup. It's delish! I get the ground flax meal with dried blueberries from Trader Joe's. The Greek yogurt is extra strained, or something, and it makes it really creamy. Yum!
This does look delish! And so simple! Does the article specify which kind of oats? I like to make steel cut.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember if it was rolled oats or not, but I imagine steel cut have the same benefit, if not more!
ReplyDeleteHave you had Greek Gods Greek Yogurt? The honey yogurt is my fave! I eat it with blueberries and sliced almonds. (The sugar used in the yogurt is pure cane.)
